We’re #winning at November so far, with two more awards for the cabinet
November 2016 has been epic, and we’ve only just got into week two. Every day last week had wonderful news for SyndicateRoom, our investors and the companies we’re raising for.
Technically still October, so more a great way to end the month/transition into November with a record month for new investor sign-ups. The bar for November has been set high but with our product launch (more on that later) and massive investor event later in the month, I’m confident we’ll smash it.
Video footage from our incredible evening with UK Business Angel of the Year Simon Thorpe was made available to the public and the response has so far been monumental. Following the popularity of our recent events, we’ve decided to hold many more of them in the new year. If you’ve not yet watched Simon’s speech, you really should – head on over to our Academy to see the full thing.
We got the go ahead to be involved in the BB Healthcare Trust Plc IPO. Brokers and nomads are really warming up to allowing retail investors into these opportunities and we’re excited with the positive feedback we’ve had so far. Feel free to browse through BB Healthcare’s intention to float.
And the winner is… SyndicateRoom for Best Investment Platform and Industry Game-Changer! We are incredibly honoured to have picked up two awards at this year’s Growth Investor awards. We stand by integrity and innovation. You can get a taste of the evening by watching the highlights reel.
Thursday was also the day we discovered we’d made the SVCUK list of ‘the hottest UK startups’ – which are now considered scale-ups! We’re really looking forward to the support we will receive from this incredible organisation. Here’s the full list.
By the end of the week we were pleased to announce that two of our investment opportunities had successfully closed, so congrats to both Recycling Technologies and KalliKids – it was a pleasure to work with you and we wish you all the success in the next stage of your growth.
Let’s keep the momentum going. If you’ve not already signed up to come to our event on 24th November, there’s not many seats left. Jim Mellon is going to keynote and, with the help of a few other contributors, it’s going to be a night to remember.
Reserve your seat here.
