Bank of England COO Charlotte Hogg and CIO John Finch visit SyndicateRoom to discuss the future of Fintech in the UK.
On Friday 6 November we had the pleasure of hosting Bank of England Chief Operating Officer Charlotte Hogg and Chief Information Officer John Finch for a meeting at our office in Cambridge.
The pair were visiting a selection of Fintech firms in the city in order to collect different industry insights and perspectives in the lead up to the Bank of England’s Open Forum, which is to be held at Cambridge’s Guildhall on Wednesday 11 November. The forum, taglined ‘Building real markets for the good of the people’, will address ways in which financial technology and innovation can help support the economy.
Also present were Bank of England’s Senior Adviser Tim Pike and Agent for the South-East and East Anglia Michael Sheren.
