Lord Kelvin was, of course, swiftly proved wrong by the Wright Brothers on December 17, 1903, and the e-Go in 2014! While it can’t claim to be lighter than air, the e-Go is the UK’s first-ever lightweight carbon fibre aeroplane.

SyndicateRoom investors in e-Go are in good company: the pint-sized-plane makers, who fully secured their £950,000 series B round this week, were also supported by government-backed investment fund Angel CoFund, Hermann Hauser (founder of Acorn Computers and its spin-out ARM holdings) and Marshall Group (aeronautical experts and owners of Cambridge Airport). Read the full e-Go story on startups.co.uk here.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported our e-Go deal, which we hope will take your investments up, up and away!
