The story

Pekama aims to offer a full solution for IP firms that want to grow their business and profits by acting as a matchmaker and collaboration facilitator in the IP sector.

Pekama's digital platform connects IP lawyers from different jurisdictions all over the world. It provides lawyers with the data they need to make informed decisions about prospective partners and allows them to optimise their reciprocal revenue streams, thereby helping them focus on their domestic clients, all the while building a more sustainable, and profitable, business.

The team

CEO Zeev Fisher is an IP expert based in Cambridge, UK. As a lawyer, he is dual-qualified in the UK as a solicitor and an advocate in Israel. He is also a self-educated software programmer, and has been personally involved in several startups as a software programmer and a manager. Zeev has been managing intellectual property firms and advising clients on a broad range of matters for the past ten years.

The lead investors

Rockspring Nominees is very pleased to be supporting Pekama’s scale up in this round. The route to market is now known and with this new investment Zeev will be able to grow sales to establish break even. I believe the opportunity in IP, let alone other legal services verticals, to be much bigger and deeper than can be proven at this stage.

David Gammon

Rockspring Nominees Ltd, lead investor (2018 round)

Pekama is at an inflection point … the CEO is from the IP industry and therefore knows the market well. This, combined with a strong and supportive existing shareholder base, means the company has a good chance of disrupting the incumbents.

Benjamin Gammon
